With fitness being an important part of her life, Clarissa has trained and motivated individuals to meet their fitness goals and improve their lifestyle. As a previous Group Exercise Instructor, Clarissa has many years of experience in all types of fitness including circuit training, water aerobics, yoga, strength training and Pilates. Clarissa is a college graduate from UTSA and in 2008 was able to give back to her alma mater by being one of the first fitness instructors to pilot the UTSA Wellness Program for faculty and students. She also had the privilege to partner with Contour Solutions for a year and teach Pilates to breast cancer patients.

Clarissa believes that being able to encourage and help others is a rewarding feeling that transcends back into her life. As she motivates her clients, her clients also motivate her to accomplish her own fitness goals. With the support of the D-N-A Fit family and marathon training, she was able to mark off an item on her bucket list-complete a half marathon. Mixing faith, hard work and dedication-we can accomplish anything!
